Kit Workshops

Seven Designs to Choose From

Our kit workshops are free and open to anyone who can operate their own sewing machine. So, join us as we encourage each other and quilt a touch of comfort for Utah children dealing with violent crime, major disease, and natural disasters. The graphics here are the seven kits available. Click one to get a better look and read the directions.

What We Do

  • Share testimonies about how these quilts are affecting Utah children and their families.

  • Cut, sew and press donated fabrics into kits or completed quilts.

  • Receive contributions

    • All quilt donations must be labeled with the official Quilts for Kids Label. Pick them up at one of our workshops.

    • Bag all contributions and label the bag with your first and last name so that we will know whom to check off of our sign-out list. A plastic trash bag works great!

  • Sign-out quilt kits

    • 1st priority is given to those who register to sew at the workshop.

    • At the end of the workshop, anyone may sign-out additional kits to make at home.

  • Sometimes we will have prize drawings or play games.
